Candida Albicans

by Leslie Patton

Candida Albicans is frustrating because it’s so hard to diagnose. Candida is a overgrowth of yeast in the intestinal tract. Most doctors won’t even admit that it exists. You might have to figure it out on your own and then look into treatment options.

Candida covers the intestinal wall which interferes with digestion and assimilation of nutrients. Many people only digest 50% of their food because of candida.

If you have a medical history of vaginitis, yeast infections, athletes foot, headaches, fatigue, antibiotic use, or any digestive problems this could be a good indicator that you may have a problem with candida albicans. There is 100 different symptoms so be sure look at the entire list to check for all your symptoms.

It is impossible to kill all of the yeast, but you must destroy as much as possible. Once you do that you should repeat your treatments when you notice your symptoms returning. Try to avoid eating foods that will allow yeast to start growing or feed the yeast you already have.

Colon cleansing is something you should look into. It can help your body heal, boost immunity, and remove yeast from your body.

Exercise is a great option because fungi cannot thrive in a high oxygen environment. Aloe vera juice, fish oils, and flaxseed all have anti-fungal properties. Try to supplement them into your diet.

Foods to avoid would be candy, cake, ice cream, pop, honey, syrup, bread, vinegar and condiments, alcohol, mushrooms, peanuts, fruits, and any canned or boxed food with sugar dextrose, corn syrup or yeast.

Other sources of fungi are breads, barley, rye, wheat, rice, millet, cereal grains, and also cigarettes.

Diet Tips for Candida Albicans

by Leslie Patton

Candida is a yeast or fungus that cannot be killed completely. All of us have a little bit of it in our intestines. Sometimes you can get what is called a yeast overgrowth.

Taking antibiotics, having a poor diet, or taking birth control pills are just a few examples that can cause candida or yeast overgrowth.

Candida has over 100 different symptoms and they usually seem unrelated. Don’t get frustrated when you can’t get a proper diagnosis. This may be something you have to research and diagnose on your own.

Candida diet is very restrictive. It is even worse if you are having really bad cravings. Stick to it for as long as you can and once you start feeling better it will get easier.

Some of the foods you should stay away from are candy, cake, ice cream, pop, bread, vinegar, condiments, alcohol, mushrooms, peanuts, fruits, any processed or canned food with dextrose, corn syrup or yeast.

Try to go with the healthier foods like lean proteins and fresh vegetables. It’s best just to drink mostly water if you can. Stay away from tap water because the chlorine will make the yeast worse. Try adding other foods gradually because candida can cause food allergy’s that you don’t even know about.

You also have to do something to kill the yeast. One option is to find a good colon cleanse. Proceed with caution because if the yeast overgrowth is extreme when you start killing it you could get very ill. I would talk to a good alternative doctor first.

Once you have killed the yeast you need to replenish the good bacteria in your system. Probiotics act as natural antibiotics against yeast and they help enhance bowel function, increase immunity, help decrease cravings, prevent skin problems and much more.
