Yeast infections affect many people men and women, though women more often. You can actually get a yeast infection pretty much anywhere on the body and some have internal candida overgrowth too. The most common area though is the vagina where signs include itching, burning, red and swollen and possibly a cottage cheese like discharge. Treatment should be done as soon as you know you have one as the sooner you treat it the easier it is to cure. One of nature’s strongest anti-fungals This is garlic! Garlic has many healing properties, is now well known for its benefits in heart disease and heart health, but also has anti-fungal properties which means it is effective against fungal infections too. Some women choose to mash a garlic clove into a paste and apply it around the external area of the vagina, but you can also insert a peeled clove into the vaginal canal too. Remember to make sure you can get it out again, perhaps by using gauze to wrap it in, and change it regularly.
3) Vinegar, in particular you should be using ACV or apple cider vinegar. Add a cup to your bath water and soak in it for at least 20 minutes. Then rinse and dry the area thoroughly. Do this once a day for several days until the infection clears up.
If you look on-line or ask friends discreetly everyone will know of one or two ways of treating a yeast infection at home, some have merits and some not so much. However what worked for them is not guaranteed for you so be prepared to try a few before you find one that works. Also keep in mind while some may swear by a remedy like yogurt, others may refute it. Use your own common sense as to what you put up the vaginal canal and what is safer to use just externally.
