It Can Be Really Embarrassing To Go To The Doctor For Yeast Infections.

It can be really embarrassing to go to the doctor for yeast infections, not only will your doctor ask you why you are there but they will ask you to describe all of your symptoms. Who wants to admit that they have vagina itching odor out loud? And then what, the doctor prescribes you a cream with things that you can’t even pronounce and says that you should feel better soon. Well, I wanted better results than that. What I really wanted was to have something that would help me prevent yeast infections while treating the symptoms and curing the underlying problem.

Tea tree oil- this is used as an astringent in many products, not just natural cures. To use this, put a few drops on to a plastic tampon applicator and place this inside your vagina for a short time. The important thing to remember about this is that it may cause irritation on the outer skin in the vaginal area. Should this happen rinse the area that is affected right away.

Gentian Violet: Some anti fungal medications or cream are actually made from this. This is used much the same way as the tea tree oil. You would just need to measure out 5 milliliters on to a tampon that is then worn for up to four hours. If you do this for about two weeks your infection will be gone.

Cranberries: what could easier than drinking a glass of juice? Cranberries are a simple choice because they can be used either in the juice form or in tablets that are easily swallowed. They are known to detoxify the rest of your body as well, not just for vaginal health.

If you are looking for the fastest recovery possible then I always like to suggest that you wear loose fitting clothes that are made of breathable materials like cotton and you should always try keeping the infected skin clean.

My Favorite Natural Cures For Yeast Infections!

Is there anything positive about having a yeast infection? Sure there is, there are many ways that you can treat your yeast infections right at home. So when I was writhing this I realized that not everyone knows what a yeast infection is. When the yeast that grows naturally inside a woman’s vagina begins to grow out of control this is a yeast infection. Many women prefer to treat these infections at home, so let’s take a look at some easy to use natural cures.

Life style changes: few things are more simple to do to prevent yeast infections than these things. Stay away from wearing clothes that are overly tight or are made of non breathable fabrics as yeast loves warm moist places. Also you will want to change out of wet swim clothes ASAP.

Dietary changes: You should try to eat foods that are high in fiber but avoid all foods that contain yeast, fungus or sugars. This includes things like bread, mushrooms, fruit and even alcohol.

Cranberry juice- is simple to use, drinking a glass everyday is a way that you can help prevent these infections.

Garlic- is fantastic as it’s very inexpensive and it works well in either of the ways that it can be used. If you eat it, it could be cooked or raw. Otherwise you could always crush it and apply it to the area that hurts.

Yogurt- Can is used either internally or externally. For internal use you can eat a large amount everyday or you could take a clean dry tampon and dip it into sugar free plain organic yogurt that is then inserted into the vagina for a short time. For external use, you can rub a small amount right on to the affected area.

Finally and by far the most relaxing way to handle your infections is just to pour a cup or two of apple cider vinegar into a nice warm bath. You can literally soak away your infection.

You should always go to your doctor if you suspect that you might have a yeast infection. This is especially true if you have never seen a doctor for one before. Don’t forget to mention that you would like to try a natural cure to them.

Treat Your Yeast Infections By Yourself!

There are many ways to treat a yeast infection. Some of them can include things like simple changes in your diet, the clothes that you wear and even how you are wearing them. If you are one of the many women that suffer from reoccurring yeast infections, you will want to try these natural cures on top of the adopting the lifestyle changes as a permanent part of your daily routine.

Personally, my criteria for a usable home remedy are: readily available, inexpensive and easy to use. Let’s take and in depth look at these organic remedies.

Garlic- this is a fantastic cure that’s been around for a very long time. It has countless uses but today let’s just discuss three of them. If you are interested in an internal treatment, then you will want to take a peeled garlic clove and wrap it in gauze then fully insert it into your vagina. For an external treatment, again take a peeled clove but this time you will mash it up finely. Rub the garlic mash onto the infected skin. My favorite way to use the garlic is just to eat it- raw or cooked it doesn’t matter.

Yogurt- this is used very similarly to garlic as you can use it both internally and externally. The important thing to remember with this is that the yogurt must be organic and completely sugar free to be acceptable for this use. When the yogurt is to be used internally; you will need to dip a tampon into it and wear the tampon for about 30 minutes or so. If you need soothing relief for the skin on the outer area of the vulva just rub some on. Otherwise it is always recommended that you eat several large servings every day.

Life style changes- this is perhaps one of the more challenging items that we are discussing as this will take continued vigilance to stay on top of. First you should be aware that wearing tight clothes can breed yeast. The same goes for wearing clothes that are made of non breathable material – make sure that your panties are lined with cotton and change out of your wet bathing suit ASAP.

I Got Help For My Chronic Yeast Infections.

I am not going to the doctor to get medication for yeast infections any more. I have waited endless hours for the doctor’s office to open just to be told that they don’t have any time available for at least a week and sometimes I have to wait even longer than that! I had been searching for an alternative treatment to not only save me money, but to avoid having to put harmful chemicals into my body as well.

I started looking for different natural cures that would work and be less expensive than paying for a doctor and a prescription from the pharmacy. Here are three options that were easy for me to use and didn’t cost a lot.

Cranberry Juice- This really made a difference in stopping my reoccurring yeast infections, so I would definitely say that you should use this as a preventive measure. The beauty of cranberry juice is that you can take it two different ways. I like just drinking the juice but I know that it can be bitter and some women don’t care for it. The other way that it could be used is in the cranberry extract pills. This can be an easier option if you are on the go.

Yogurt- This is a simple option that is very effective however it may be something that you should plan to do when you are at home as I can create a mess. If you have skin irritation on the outside of your body, try smearing a bit on and letting it sit. This should feel cool and stop the itching. You could also try to apply some to a tampon and wear it for a few minutes- this will help to clear up the internal infection symptoms. Lastly you could always eat some as a preventive measure.

Garlic- this can be mashed up and turned into a paste that is massaged into the skin that has the irritation. Also garlic can be eaten; cooked or raw it doesn’t matter. The last way that was recommended to me was to peel a clove and wrap it in some gauze. Once you have done that you can put it into your vagina and this should help to relieve some of your symptoms.

What You Eat Will Affect Your Yeast Infections!

Well ladies, it looks like there is one more thing that we need to watch out for in our diets. Not only should we be concerned about fat content and portion sizes but for those of us that suffer from yeast infections, both minor and severe, we now need to pay attention to the type of foods we eat. Certain food choices can actually feed the yeast that you are trying so hard to fight. But, don’t worry. We are going to look at short list of foods that you should really consider avoiding whether you have an active infection or you have reoccurring infections.

Our short list of foods to avoid. Sugar- We can find all different types of sugars in many of the foods we eat. I wish it were as easy as saying don’t put sugar in your tea, but it isn’t. The only way that you can really tell how much sugar you are consuming is to read the labels on your foods. Also did you know that fruit is full of sugar! Even natural sugars need to be avoided.

Carbohydrates- just like raw or refined sugar carbohydrates are eventually turned into sugar by the body. Sorry ladies but this means that foods that contain white four, starch of any kind and potatoes are off limits. Bacteria love to feed off of different kinds of bacteria and yeast as well. With this being said there is a tremendous amount of bacteria and yeast in things like mushrooms or even alcohol.

Even though they may seem safe try to avoid sweetened bakery items and even white flour tortilla chips too. As even though they may not contain raw sugar they could contain things like corn syrup or even simple sugar and remember that yeast populations can grow out of control when they are given food.

I know that if you follow these tips you will be yeast free in no time.
