Anyone can get yeast infection. This is not some disease that occurs when an external virus or bacteria attacks your body. The yeast infection happens when the candida fungus that’s already present in your body multiplies to an unmanageable level and causes damage. When does this happen? There is a natural optimum level for all micro-organisms in the body; when this balance is upset, it results in increase of fungus as compared to other microbes, thus causing candidiasis.
Certain conditions like diabetes, obesity, reduced immunity and use of antibiotics may be the causes for this disparity. As a result, there’s a sudden increase in the levels of candida fungus and these form patches in warm, moist parts of the body. Vaginitis, athlete’s foot, ringworm, diaper rash and thrush are all consequences of this increase. These conditions cause a lot of embarrassment to the person’s who’s affected because these ailments are always accompanied by itchiness and skin problems.

Include these in your diet
Yogurt. You’ll find this dairy product in every yeast fighter’s list. Your body balance gets re-established when yogurt fills your body with nourishing good bacteria. It’s good to have at least one cup yogurt every day.
Garlic and raw onions. Garlic and raw onions are known for their capacity to fight fungal infection and should be included in your diet.
Fruits and vegetables with high fibre content are recommended as they flush out toxins from the system and help in restoring balance. Keep off from starchy vegetables.
Have a protein rich diet. Your diet should have fish, chicken, eggs and beef.
You’re allowed to have whole grains like millet, barley and rice.
It’s important to have lots of water as well as refreshing drinks like aloe vera juice.
Food To Avoid
The purpose of this diet should be remove yeast completely; so it’s important to keep away yeasty food substances. This includes
Bread and confectionaries. Avoid all baked products like cakes which are prepared by fermentation of yeast.
Say no to sugar, sugar-based products and other sweetening agents.
Alcoholic drinks are again a strict no. It’s also good to keep off from beverages like coffee and tea. You can have green tea instead.
All vinegar based products should be avoided.
People following this diet should steer clear of mushroom.
Stay away from canned fruits and tinned products.
Avoid cheese, ice cream and butter.
Though this diet seems severe, it’s very effective in treating candidiasis.
