Any guys out there who have experienced a male yeast infection?

My doctor seems to think that I may have a male yeast infection, due to months of antibiotics I had taken.

My symptoms have been itching/redness in the testicles and itch in the anus. It has been going on for months and he has me on the candida diet. it seems to be working to a point, but has not subsided.

I would like to know of any males out there have had this condition and could shed some light on the subject.

your help would be greatly appreciated.

Using Caprylic Acid Candida Treatment – The Most Potent Antifungal

There are many different treatments for Candida growth and fungal infections, but this article focuses on one of the most effective treatments because it treats the root of the problem. Caprylic acid Candida treatments are natural and have been known for at least 40 years. The substance comes from coconuts and is also known as octanoid acid. This caprylic acid has been observed to have powerful anti viral, antibiotic and antifungal capabilities.

Although scientists do not clearly understand why capryilic acid works to kill off Candida in the gut, they know that it does work. You can now get this fatty acid compound as a health supplement which has been specially formulated to control outbreaks of Candida in the stomach.

Candida is a naturally occurring microorganism that lives within the entire G.I. tract. When the amount of Candida is in balance, then it does not cause any problems. However, sometimes the number of Candida microorganisms grow out of control: this can be caused by illness, antibiotics, the pill, other prescription medications and a poor diet that is high in sugar and low in fiber.

An overgrowth of Candida causes a health condition that is known as Candidiasis. This can cause problems such as thrush, diaper rash, jock itch, fungal nail infections and over 100 other symptoms. If you have one of these health conditions, then it is likely that you would get quite a lot of benefit from taking a caprylic acid Candida supplement.

Candida conditions that show up around the body usually include redness, swelling, itching and burning, with white, patchy spots in the center. If there is an overgrowth of Candida in the intestines, it can cause mental dullness, loss of memory, mood swings, fatigue, abdominal bloating, irritable bowel syndrome and even depression.

When you are buying a caprylic acid Candida supplement, make sure that you buy one that has a time release capsule. This means that the tablet or capsule does not break down in the stomach, but starts to dissolve once it reaches the intestines. If the tablet is absorbed in the stomach, then the acids there will prevent it getting to where it needs to go and the compound will be destroyed in the stomach.

Caprylic acid is sold in health food stores, drug stores and internet retailers in capsules. You may also find it in formulas that are made for specific conditions. Coconut oil is also sold widely at health stores and it is a great source of caprylic acid. Many people cook with coconut oil as it can stand high temperatures in cooking and delivers the benefits that caprylic acid does.

If you are experiencing any type of fungal infection, or are feeling bloated and foggy headed, then the chances are high that you have a build up of Candida in the intestines. In this case it is well worth getting a supplement to try and treat the conditions and prevent them from returning. However, if you have tried them and you find that your symptoms seem to be returning, you should follow the anti Candida diet. Even if Candida is not the issue, you will still find major relief from your symptoms and feel better immediately.

Diet Tips for Candida Albicans

by Leslie Patton

Candida is a yeast or fungus that cannot be killed completely. All of us have a little bit of it in our intestines. Sometimes you can get what is called a yeast overgrowth.

Taking antibiotics, having a poor diet, or taking birth control pills are just a few examples that can cause candida or yeast overgrowth.

Candida has over 100 different symptoms and they usually seem unrelated. Don’t get frustrated when you can’t get a proper diagnosis. This may be something you have to research and diagnose on your own.

Candida diet is very restrictive. It is even worse if you are having really bad cravings. Stick to it for as long as you can and once you start feeling better it will get easier.

Some of the foods you should stay away from are candy, cake, ice cream, pop, bread, vinegar, condiments, alcohol, mushrooms, peanuts, fruits, any processed or canned food with dextrose, corn syrup or yeast.

Try to go with the healthier foods like lean proteins and fresh vegetables. It’s best just to drink mostly water if you can. Stay away from tap water because the chlorine will make the yeast worse. Try adding other foods gradually because candida can cause food allergy’s that you don’t even know about.

You also have to do something to kill the yeast. One option is to find a good colon cleanse. Proceed with caution because if the yeast overgrowth is extreme when you start killing it you could get very ill. I would talk to a good alternative doctor first.

Once you have killed the yeast you need to replenish the good bacteria in your system. Probiotics act as natural antibiotics against yeast and they help enhance bowel function, increase immunity, help decrease cravings, prevent skin problems and much more.
